The Interreg Rhinsolar project ends.

For three years, the consortium partners of the Interreg Rhinsolar project have cooperated in the advancement of organic photovoltaic panels. As part of this project, RBnano has developed transparent conductive oxides able to replace Indium-Tin Oxide through new sol-gel tin formulations. The formulations can be applied by spray onto soda-lime glasses (while maintaining optimum conductivity and transparency). These coatings have a transparency close to 85% and a surface resistance up to 100Ω / □. In addition to their use as parts of photovoltaic cells, the formulations can give rise to applications on ceramic parts or glass of complex shape.
