R&Dnano provides the sol-gel solutions for the ANR funded FOGAMO project.
The FOGAMO project is aimed at developing sol-gels with magneto-optical properties. These materials do have the property of rotating the polarization of light when a magnetic field is applied. This specific effect is widely used in telecommunication complex devices; the project foresees the integration of this function directly at the core of optical fibers.
